As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol in Denver, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for visitors and tenants. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This post requires a valid driver's license, as driving may be part of your duties. Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities, including guiding visitors and staff during incidents or evacuations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements for driving positions.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • A County of Denver Unarmed Security Professional License is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
