About The Team The Senior Curriculum Developer at Kinaxis is pivotal in shaping and delivering high-quality, engaging learning experiences that will make our customers successful on our platform. In collaboration with other key business units, this individual will design and develop new, personalized training offerings for the various roles that exist in our ecosystem. Our Senior Curriculum Developer is responsible for ensuring that these offerings for global customers are accurate, consumable, and delivered on time. Reporting to the Senior Director of Customer Education, our Senior Curriculum Developer will play a key role in creating innovative curriculum content, instructional materials, and assessments for our online learning platform. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong instructional design skills, and experience in developing digital learning content in a variety of formats. What you will do Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and product managers to define learning objectives and develop curriculum that aligns with company goals and customer needs. Design and develop engaging and interactive learning materials, including eLearning modules, videos, simulations, assessments, and other digital resources, using authoring tools and multimedia software. Apply instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and best practices in online education to create effective learning experiences that promote knowledge retention and skill acquisition. Monitor and analyze the performance of content using analytics tools to identify areas for improvement and optimize content strategies. Work in close collaboration with other key business units including Product Mangement, Marketing, and Customer Care. Build relationships and collaborate across all functional levels with business leaders and subject matter experts. Serve as a mentor for other Curriculum Developers to learn, review, and received feedback and coaching. Conduct needs assessments, content analysis, and learner analysis to identify learning gaps and inform curriculum development decisions. Review and evaluate existing curriculum content, providing recommendations for updates and improvements based on feedback, performance data, and industry trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality, accuracy, and relevance of curriculum content, incorporating feedback and making revisions as needed. Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in eLearning and instructional design, continually seeking opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of curriculum development processes. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities to expand knowledge and skills in curriculum development and instructional design. What we are looking for Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, instructional technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or eLearning development, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry. Strong instructional design skills, with experience designing and developing online learning materials using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Synthesia and other similar AI software. Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and Hands on Lab (HOL) systems is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
